Billing For Premium Services

Granza premium services apply to a user with a larger email subscriber list larger and for special ad needs.

Card Authorization

Granza does not directly hold your credit card information. For any premium services you choose, Granza uses Stripe to handle your secure payments.

When adding a credit card to your account, we send over an “authorization request” (via Stripe) to the issuing bank. Stripe will first attempt a $0 authorization for Visa/MC/Amex (for other card brands, we will use $1). If the $0 authorization fails, we’ll then attempt a $1 authorization.

Whether or not the authorization is approved, we reverse our authorization request immediately. Some people may still see an authorization for $1 on their credit card statement. The important thing to remember is that this is not a charge.

Premium Email

  • If you have a selected credit card on file, email plans are automatically upgraded based on your contact list size and email sends. You can also choose to manually upgrade your account at any time. Upgrades remain in effect for 30 days. You can manually downgrade your plan after the billing date. This assumes that your email usage does not exceed the downgrade plan.
  • You are billed on a monthly basis.
  • Canceling a service or closing your user account does not cancel any charges you are obligated for.

Premium Advertising

  • Ads are charged on a weekly basis. If you cancel an ad during the 7 days, the pending balance is charged on the following Friday, if the balance is greater than $4.99.
  • Each premium ad you create has its own pricing, targeting and scheduling options.
  • Changes you make to an existing premium ad may result in a change in the cost or require re-approval.
  • You are billed weekly for clicks and/or impressions.
  • You will get an email when your budget is approaching its limit. To extend an existing ad, simply increase its budget before it expires.
  • Canceling a service or closing your user account does not cancel any charges you are obligated for.
