Once you have created a list of email subscribers, you can then send campaigns to them. (Read more about Lists) Your campaigns can include a variety of things, such as, promoting your products, services and calls to action. When you first join Granza, a Default List is automatically created for you. Your default list cannot be deleted, but it can be renamed. You will need to add the additional, required information before you can use a list. Some of that information will be prepopulated from your user profile data. Create as many lists as you wish for different email campaign purposes. Although integrated seamlessly, the Granza email marketing system is set up independently from the advertising system.
NOTE: Before you send a campaign, send a test campaign to yourself. This is done on the final step of the campaign wizard using the “Send a Test Campaign to Yourself” button. When you receive the test campaign, check for grammar, typos, formatting, etc. When you are satisfied, you can then send out your campaign.
Using Campaigns
- Step 1 of the email campaign wizard requires you to choose a list. You can only email subscribers that have previously given you permission to send them information from that specific list. There are a few fields to fill out that are self-explanatory. Use the info buttons for more information about a particular field. Use merge tags to personalize your campaigns for each subscriber. (Read more about Merge Tags) At the bottom, choose when to send out your campaign, then click “Save & Continue”.
- Step 2 is where you choose an email template. (Read more about Email Templates) It is strongly suggested that you create a brand that uses a consistent look and feel. Just like any business, you want your audience to quickly identify campaigns that come from you.
- Step 3 is where you edit your email template. Add a variety of different content to make it your own. The three areas you will use are Content, Rows and Settings.
- Step 4 is where you confirm and send your campaign. All green check marks indicate that there are no errors. To make a change, click the appropriate “Edit” button.
NOTE: Below are the maximum specifications for lists as of 9/24/19. If you feel your file size will exceed any of these parameters, do not upload them. After you join Granza, first send a support ticket before attempting to create or import the list.
- Maximum number of email subscribers is 75,000
- Maximum filesize is 10MB
- Maximum number of characters on the list is 12 million
